Hasek's Heroes Mission

Picture
First and foremost, Hasek’s Heroes provides a foundation of athletic development and educational support, enabling children from low- to moderate-income families to achieve their future life goals.

It provides them the opportunity to learn basic skating and hockey skills and, for those with the aptitude and commitment, the opportunity to participate in the tiered hockey development program.

Hasek’s Heroes works in partnership with the Buffalo Public School System to promote academic achievement as an integral component of athletics.

We know that the greatest victories in life happen off the ice. But Hasek’s Heroes is a great way to prepare for life’s challenges. We teach leadership, perseverance, loyalty and commitment, and provide the foundation for a winning future.

The ninth season of Hasek’s Heroes promises to be the best yet. In addition to providing a positive after-school activity, we emphasize the development of skating, hockey and social skills.

This year proudly marks the ninth season of the Hasek’s Heroes program which provides children with an opportunity to learn to skate and play the exciting game of hockey.  Equipment, ice time, coaching and FUN are just a few of the benefits provided to our participants, at no cost!
